A trained technician will deliver your specific Program prescription precisely and professionally. They will keep conversation minimal and only as needed, so that you can fully relax during the session.
We request that you wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and typically you are not required to change into a gown, remove shoes, etc. If needed, you will be asked to do so.
You will be asked to lay face down or up, or to sit up as required and may be asked to change positions during your session. If a given position is uncomfortable, accommodations can often be made. Please let your technician know.
Treatments typically last 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes less, and the laser application is painless.
Occasionally you may or may not feel some intermittent muscle twitching, tingling, spasm or referred neuromusculoskeletal pain or discomfort in parts of your body due to a neurological response as the laser in use in some areas. The laser is not ‘causing’ a problem or injury, rather this is a transient response of nerves and tissues already involved in a symptomatic problem. Again, these are typically transient (lasting only moments, or while your body adapts to the change) and most often a sign of progress to a functional goal.
You may or may not feel a slight warmth from time to time as the laser touches the skin.
The areas treated will depend upon your specific Program and may include one or a combination of; the forehead, temples, sides of the face, top, back, and/or sides of the skull, along with the sides, front and back of the neck and along parts or all of the spinal column.
These areas may change as your Program progresses over time.
Significant, long-term results are generally evidenced over the course of your prescribed Program. However, you may experience changes as quickly as the first session (i.e. reduced tremor, smoother gait, pain relief, etc.). At this stage of your Program those ‘results’ are likely transient and may last only a few minutes, hours, or days. Even so these can be exciting and feel great.
Whether you experience any of these in the first session or not until the 10th or later, the important thing to understand and remember is that significant, long-term functional improvement progresses over time and with consistency. Just as going to a gym once or twice may make your muscles feel good and pumped up, it will not give you a body-builder’s physique.
The Program includes delivery of a minimum of 35 sessions, a set of progress evaluations and adjustments to your Program as indicated.
The Program sessions are delivered on a specific schedule. Typically, weekly appointments are more frequent in the beginning and then become further apart later in the Program.
It is crucial that you are committed and able to make your Program’s specific schedule.
Currently, we can only accept a limited number of patients in the Lasene Programs at a given time. We highly recommend that if you are accepted as a candidate and choose to enroll, it is best that you schedule all of your session appointments from the beginning.
Lasene Programs are a minimum of 35 sessions at $139 per session. All treatment sessions are included, paid up front at Program purchase, and are credited as treatment is received. Program cost is $4865.00. Prices may vary slightly per location and/or location specific discounts or coupons may apply. If applicable, these will automatically be reflected or applied when you select your location at checkout. Please note: all prices are subject to change without notice.
Programs are purchased and paid in full online at the time of enrollment. We accept most major credit cards.
Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance does not cover Lasene Programs at this time. Therefore we do not accept any insurance or third party payments at this time.
Your first step is to complete and submit the Online Pre-Screening Form (go to Start Now page) to see if you are a good candidate for the program. Once you receive a Yes or No response, follow the instructions to either move to the next step, reapply or that you are not a good candidate for the Program. You may request reconsideration of a denial status by contacting us directly.
All protocols, procedures and strategies are specifically employed to improve health related quality-of-life status of the recipient of Lasene and it is not a guarantee, nor is it a promise to cure Parkinson’s, sleep disorders, deterioration of executive function, or any other condition(s) or ailment(s).
Lasene Programs is not directly approved by the FDA. However, because of the repurposing of acceptable FDA uses for therapeutic laser and common protocols and procedures in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal care (NMS), Lasene is not considered an “off label use” of technology.
The mechanisms behind Lasene Programs encompasses FDA Cleared use of near-infrared lasers for reducing inflammation, improving circulation and modulating pain. A safe and effective benefit of these fundamental changes in tissue status, increasing ATP production and repairing or regenerating human tissue is observed.
The proprietary factors underlying the high level of benefit observed with Lasene Programs are due to the advanced design of the laser and advanced Lasene neuromusculoskeletal assessment and treatment protocols.
Our Lasene Programs clinics want you to rest assured that we are well informed, apply firm scientific rationale and sound medical evidence both in the use of FDA Cleared laser technology, acceptable and common practice fundamentals and any portion of your care that may initially appear to be, but is not off label use.
